Emacx Services: Load Audits
The first step of our project development process is a comprehensive Load Study of the facility to identify electric equipment that can be controlled as part of a demand reduction program. During that process we also review historical data and consequently establish a success matrix for a facility-wide demand control strategy.
A typical load study contains the following information:
- Analysis of current and historical utility billing information.
- Detailed load analysis of all equipment identified for load curtailment.
- Detailed load calculation spreadsheet showing each load that will be utilized for creating savings.
- Load graph analysis.
- Technical information about the proposed intelligent peak load control or DR system.
- Detailed single line schematic for load connection, I/O count and BMS integration.
- Overview of savings analysis, project cost and simple payback calculation.
- Detailed scope of supply and services and major cost drivers.
- Preparation and submission all paperwork for utility incentives.
- Single-line overview drawings of panels and equipment.
